Spring 08 Feeding the multitude It happened in Spring, the place
was lonely, but the grass was green. This is the only miracle mentioned in all four Gospels, apart from the resurrection,
so it's 'top banana', lets try and work out it's meanings!! You're getting used to my
plea to 'click, play and pray!!'
Feeding the Multitude
Whitsun 08 It's nearly Whitsun/Pentecost, the Fiftieth day after Easter
Sunday, the day of the Holy Spirit being given to the followers of Jesus, so I thought I would celebrate this wonderful
moment in the Christian calendar with another of my audio versions of events. The Easter one below went down better
than I thought! Click the links below. The duration is a little under 4 minutes. (If you have problems
playing under Vista, try the Quicktime box below.. click play and pray!!)

Easter
08 With the arrival of our new vicar Antony, it is not only the church that has had one big
shot in the arm, there's me too! With renewed vigor, I'm having a really fascinating time trying
to get to grips with how my faith fits in with family life hobbies and work. As Easter is upon us, I thought why
not try to read the incredible story of the death and resurrection of Jesus with a little (hopefully not too ott)
music, and to be honest the whole process of writing voicing and creating has been an emotional yet immensely invigorating
experience. I hope you enjoy it. It's 10 minutes duration, so please forgive the bits I've left out. If
I've got any facts wrong then that just goes to prove how much more I need to learn!! Antony help!! (If you have problems
playing under Vista, try the Quicktime box below.. click play and pray!!)
The Easter Story according to Carl
After listening to the story of Jesus's
resurrection I thought you might like to celebrate with my recording of the bells of Gsteig Church in Wilderswil Switzerland.
Lets ring out the bells for our saviour!!!(click the play button below)
Two amazing events in the Goss household
in the lead up to Christmas. On Wednesday 5th December, the Mothers Union Church Crib was at our house for the night,
as it makes it's way around the parish throughout December. Catherine had set it all out, and later dropped her Peppa
Pig soft toy nearby. Peppas 'cross like' arm fell out of her jacket and below is the result exactly as she fell. Honestly
this happened! Absolutely amazing we think!

As well as this little 'miracle',
Catherine is to play Mary in her school Christmas performance this year below she is chasing a big fat man with
a beard... no not Dad!! Tonight (Friday) the Rotary Club towed Santa up the road outside our house.(Don't forget
as with any photo on the site you can click for the bigger picture)

Well here we are again, a very special
time of year, and at Church again we are having to thump on about the 'real 'meaning of Christmas. It saddens me that
Jesus has got lost somewhere in the back ground of so many people's Christmas festivities. Catherine's school, a good
old standard British primary, does it's best to teach the kids, despite these days of political correctness gone mad!
Catherine's school carol concert held at our parish Church of St John was a joy, but the singing voices of the adults
seemed sadly somewhat lacking. Ah well the kids did their best, and 'Away in a manger' did it for me, like it always
does. Written in 1895, it is nearly always the first carol taught to children. It spent it's first 10 years without
musical acompaniment, good enough reason I feel to reflect on the words as they were written by that anonymous
poet.. they are amazing!!
Away in a manger, No crib for His
bed The little Lord Jesus Laid down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky Looked down where
He lay The little Lord Jesus Asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing The poor Baby wakes But
little Lord Jesus No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus Look down from the sky And stay by
my side, 'Til morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever And love me I pray
Bless all the dear children In Thy tender care And take us to heaven To live
with Thee there
I've been delving into a number
of new songs recently, and here's one which I'm really in love with. I shall be clean again by Graham Kendrick.
Do read the lyrics. It's a way of asking for God's forgiveness, being washed of our sins. Lovely!
I’ve come to wash my soul in the living water Wash my heart in your cleansing
stream Here is mercy and forgiveness I shall be clean again I’ve
come to bathe my eyes in your word Lord Jesus Cleanse my thoughts, my imaginings May these eyes see as your love
sees Light flood my being O wash me whole in your rushing river My
Saviour Take me down to die and rise again Now I’ve been bought
with the blood of Jesus Now my life is not my own A temple holy for you only Where you are loved and know Graham Kendrick Copyright © 2004 Make Way Music, PO Box 263, Croydon, Surrey,

Another favourite sing at church!!
'Knowing you'. Songs like this can help change your life! Thanks to Roger at St Johns.
All I once held dear, built my life upon All this world reveres,
and wars to own All I once thought gain I have counted loss Spent and worthless now, compared to this Knowing you, Jesus Knowing you, there is no greater thing You're
my all, you're the best You're my joy, my righteousness And I love you, Lord Now my heart's desire is to know you more To be found in you and known as yours To possess by faith what I could not earn All-surpassing gift of righteousness Oh, to know the power of your risen life And to know You in Your sufferings To become like
you in your death, my Lord So with you to live and never die Graham Kendrick Copyright © 1993 Make Way Music, www.grahamkendrick.co.uk All rights

God loves us all... it's time we all realised it.
