Wow what a whopper!!

Of course, it's not so powerful as the International Deutsche
Welle relay that I visited at Cyclops, where you could hear the programmes in a metal bucket held in the direction of the
transmitter. Think what it was doing to my brain cells! What do you mean 'that explains a lot'?!
It seems incredible but Infotourist along with Radio BeO is 20 years old this year,
with Mike clocking up an amazing 6000 editions of the programme without missing a show! (Guinness Book of Records take note!)
Birthday celebrations will be taking place during the week of 4th - 9th June, with Radio BeO's big boss on the show on the
Saturday morning! Watch out Mike! Sadly a lot of the early recordings of the show were lost in the floods of 2005, so we wait
to see what Mike can pull out of the bag!
